How It Works

Taxonomy
Sustainability risks come in many shapes and sizes like environmental risks, social impacts, or issues related to the way businesses are managed. So, we have categorised these risks into 30 different groups within our 'TSA taxonomy.' This allows us to effectively map the areas that align with your specific interests and concerns.

Statements
We have crafted hundreds of statements to illustrate each of these sustainability risk categories. We present you with a pair of statements at a time and, after a few rounds into the test, we use your selected options to assess your preferences and level of engagement.

Sustainability Profiles
Once The Sofa Activist test is completed, we compute the data and apply our creative AI writer to generate a personalised profile report for the user. Our model can detect and categorize preferences across 35 different sustainability profiles.

All right, we felt that if we wanted to encourage people to talk about their sustainability interests, we would have to keep them entertained. So, we came up with a numpty, retro mini-game because... well, because we love mini-games. We also enjoy putting ourselves in a tight spot and thinking with our guts about the things that really bother us. That’s why we created the thrilling ‘Battle of Statements’ and made users play it under time pressure. We love a tough choice (as long as we can make them from the sofa).
